How to read a bearing code
In a standard bearing designation the first digit indicates the bearing type, and the following digits define the series and the bore diameter. In 6205, for example, 6 stands for a deep groove ball bearing, 2 for the light series and 05 for a 25 mm bore. Suffixes such as 2RS, ZZ or C3 describe the seal type and internal clearance class.
